Prayer- joyous gift given to us by God.

Many places in the Bible reminds us to pray, particularly in Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians (5:17), he urges his Christian friends to pray constantly. Although this seems straightforward, in practice, many of us may find it difficult because of our full schedule. Therefore, the Wednesday prayer meeting is fixed to prioritise your time by including the Wednesday prayer. Besides, this is an opportunity for us to the life-giving power of communion with God.

Calvin said, “Genuine and earned prayer proceeds first from a sense of our need, and next, from faith in the promises of God.”
